Why do you have designated teachers in specialised learning centres?

At Little Ashford, we believe every educator has unique strengths and passions. Our teachers specialise in specific learning areas, allowing them to become experts in their field. As children rotate through these learning centres from 2 to 6 years of age, they build meaningful relationships with these teachers over several years. This continuity allows teachers to understand each child's individual learning journey while providing consistent support and guidance throughout their preschool years.

Do you follow the EYFS curriculum?

At Little Ashford, we follow a carefully integrated curriculum that combines the best of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), CAPS, and ISASA guidelines. This allows us to provide a well-rounded, play-based education that nurtures every aspect of your child's development. Our programme focuses on building strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, communication, physical development, creativity, and social-emotional wellbeing through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.

Yes! We provide five nutritious meals every day:• Breakfast• Morning Snack• Lunch• Afternoon Snack• Late Afternoon SnackOur menu is carefully planned to provide balanced, wholesome meals. We follow a vegetarian menu with fish served once a week. We are also a nut free and pork free school.

Is holiday care available?

We offer a Holiday Club during all school holidays, which is included in the school fees (excluding the December Holiday Club, which is charged separately). This gives families reliable care throughout the year.

Creating a safe environment is one of our top priorities. Our schools have controlled access with a security guard at the entrance, and children are supervised throughout the day. All staff are first-aid trained and receive ongoing professional development to ensure they are well equipped to care for every child.
